Booked services. When you book a fixed-price job, you are contracting with Zinola. We assign a professional we have checked, and if it goes wrong it is ours to sort out.
The directory. Business listings are exactly that. You contact the business and deal with it directly. We are not a party to that arrangement, we do not set their prices and we do not guarantee their work. Many listings were added by users and have never been claimed by their owner.
Nothing is charged when you book. You pay the professional directly when the work is done, in cash or by UPI. There is no card payment on Zinola today.
The price shown when you book is the price recorded, and we re-check every line against our own catalogue rather than trusting what your browser sends. Some work is priced after a visit — those lines say so rather than showing a figure. If the job turns out to need more than was booked, the professional agrees it with you before doing it.
Zinola keeps a 10% fee on booked jobs. That comes out of the professional's side, not on top of your price.
You can cancel a booking for free until the professional starts the job. Nothing has been charged, so there is nothing to refund. The full rules are on the cancellation page.
After a job is finished you can rate it, including the punctuality, workmanship, conduct and cleanliness of the person who came. If something went wrong, call us on 044 4000 1200 or email hello@zinola.in and we will deal with it case by case. We would rather say that plainly than promise a process we have not built.
One account per person, accurate details, and you are responsible for what happens under it. You should be 18 or over. We can suspend an account used to harass people, post reviews that are not first-hand, or impersonate a business.
You keep ownership of your posts, reviews and photos, and you give us permission to show them on Zinola. Write about your own experience. Do not post someone else's work as your own, and do not write or solicit a review in exchange for anything.
Content reported by enough people is hidden automatically while we look at it. Either way you are told, and you can appeal from your account. Hidden content is not deleted, so a successful appeal puts it back.
Reviews are the opinions of the people who wrote them. We do not edit them to suit a business, and a business cannot pay to have one removed or to rank higher. A business may reply publicly, once, to any review about it. The rest of how ordering works is on its own page.
A professional is approved by a person reviewing their documents, not by an automatic check, and is not shown to customers until that is done. A business listing can be claimed by its owner after we verify ownership, usually by calling the number on the listing.
For a job you booked through Zinola, our responsibility is to put right what we sent someone to do. For anything you arrange directly with a listed business, our responsibility is limited to the listing itself — the work is between you and them.
If these terms change materially we will say so on the site before the change takes effect.
