- Does the app cost anything?
- No. Zinola is free to use and free to be listed on. You do not buy or pay for anything through it. An enquiry is a chat, and you pay the seller directly.
- I run a small business from home. Is the app for me too?
- Yes. Sell what you make in the Marketplace, and add a free business page so people can find you, ask you and review you. No shop, no GST, no fees needed. Enquiries reach your phone as notifications.
- What does the app ask permission for?
- Your location, only while you use it, to find your neighborhood. Notifications, so you see replies and enquiries. Your contacts, only when you choose to share a number with your street. Your photos, only when you add one. Nothing runs in the background.
- If someone sends me a Zinola link on WhatsApp, does it open in the app?
- Yes, if you have the app. Street posts, listings, business pages, reviews and profiles open in the app. Without the app, the link opens the website.
- Is it the same account as the website?
- Yes. One account, one street, the same reviews and listings. Anything you write on the website shows in the app, and the other way around.
- How do I know when to update?
- If a change needs a newer version of the app, the app tells you and takes you to the store to update.
