Nothing you would not say to a neighbour's face, under your own name.
There is no tolerance here for objectionable content or for abusive users. Everything below follows from that one sentence.
Your own name, your own experience. One account per person. Write about things that happened to you. A review is first-hand or it is not a review.
Disagree with the thing, not the person. A bad plumber is fair game. The neighbour who recommended them is not.
Other people's details are theirs. Do not post someone's address, phone number, workplace or photograph without asking them first.
Sexual content and nudity. Anything that sexualises a child. Slurs and attacks on caste, religion, race, region, language, disability, gender or sexuality. Threats, stalking, and going after one person again and again. Violence, or encouraging it. Encouraging self-harm. Scams and impersonation. Anything illegal under Indian law.
A post, reply, review, listing or message containing a slur or explicit sexual language is refused the moment you press send. It never goes up.
Every post, reply, review, listing, message, street, business page and profile has a menu with Report on it. Pick a reason, add a line if you want to, send it. It reaches a person.
We read every report and act on it within 24 hours. Content several different people report is hidden automatically in the meantime, so nothing waits on us being awake.
You do not have to explain yourself and you do not have to report anybody first. Blocking works both ways at once: their posts, replies, listings and messages leave your Zinola and yours leave theirs, any follow between you is dropped, and neither of you can contact the other. We are told every time it happens. Unblock whenever you like, from your settings.
The content comes down and the account is suspended — which takes down everything else that account posted, not only the thing that was reported. Where it is bad enough, that happens with no warning. A second account made to get around a suspension goes with the first.
Hidden is not deleted. If we got it wrong, you appeal from your account and it comes back.
